Guest Comment:
The hotel is just on the outskirts of Manchester, cheaper than the city centre hotels, but close enough to walk into Castlefield. It also has the added bonus of having its own car park, something very rare in a city centre hotel. Rooms are not massive, but ample and clean, we stayed no a Saturday night, but suffered no noise disturbance. The staff are helpful and polite, breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant was clean and air conditioned. If you want that extra bit of glamour, its probably best to pay an extra £60 a night and stay at the Hilton, but for us it was more than adequate and well worth the price.

Top Tip:
Akbars Indian Restaurant opposite the Science Museum - fantastic authentic indian food, but affordable. The staff bend over backwards to cook your order exactly how you want it and the atmosphere is great. Book your table, then go off and have a drink - long waits for the tables, but well worth it. Also Comedy Store, Deansgate Locks - £12 a ticket for a night of original stand up comedy. Fantastic.
